Jasper CK Bangs
is an AAPI (Asian American Pacific Islander) artist based in Portland, Oregon who focuses on characterizing shapes and objects to encapsulate both their physical presence and form, and their abstracted form based on energy and personality. She currently resides at Pacific Northwest College of Art in order to make works that are built around community and human emotions through communication. Specializing in painting and sculpture, the combination of artforms creates endless possibilities for expression of her values, ideals, and her perception of the world that surrounds us.
